I am originally from the holy land of golf, Augusta, Georgia -
where azaleas rule the world, and the place that engrained into me what
"a tradition unlike any other" truly meant -
The Augusta National.
I can't live without...
Jesus, a good pair of jeans, and laughing...
the kind that makes your face hurt.
My friends would say...
that I have a very dry sense of humor (but really funny), I don't meet a stranger, and that I have enough creativity to fill the Grand Canyon.
These are a few of my favorite things...
a good cup of coffee, white sand, hat hair, the Golden Girls, red m&m's,
the perfect diet coke - iykyk, Home Alone,
fresh margaritas (on the rocks, of course), fireworks, rubies,
annnnnd...that boy, the who can make me laugh like I'm ten, and blush like I'm sixteen...you know, the one who makes everything even better.
I'm inspired by...
everything that sparkles, ruffles, or has a bow, almost anything vintage (especially big rocks set in platinum), and how little girls light up when they put on a fancy dress and twirl around the living room.
But enough about me, I can't wait to meet- YOU.
From Georgia with Love, Rebecca
They say a story is
only as good as its ending,
but we're just getting to the
good stuff.
The beginning of this story began long before a business idea ever existed.
A local bridal store opened in my hometown,
and they were hiring, so I applied
only to be told that I
"didn't have the personality to work in bridal".
Fast forward five years, and upon what I believed to be a random visit to the dress mecca of the South, Bridals by Lori, ended with a personal, and unprovoked invitation from Lori herself to work on her prized bridal floor.
From there I had the privilege of working for several couture bridal designers while learning the intricacies of bridal.
Living in NYC is not for the faint of heart,
and it's definitely not like Sex and the City portrayed it.
But, for almost a decade it was where I called home, and became a dream come true,
a dream I never knew I had.
It was there I learned the art of true luxury, the kind of luxury that isn't necessarily about spending the most, but about having what no one else has.
Leaving New York was tough,
but walking into the next few years
in Memphis is where I learned to pull
heart and soul into the mix.
At Graceland, you really feel the love for the things Elvis loved and see his heart played out, not only in his music but in everything he surrounded himself with.
In Memphis, you learn what
"loving tender" really means,
by God first, and then by Elvis.
Well, I always heard Texas was hot, but hot doesn't even begin to describe Texas summers.
That said, my years in Texas reminded me that every business needs a little spice that gives it that special touch clients are looking for.
It was there I learned the real heart of what being made in the USA really meant
because Texas is all about America, and sincerely taking our heritage to heart.
We have now come full circle,
back to Georgia where it all began
so many years ago.
And, it turns out that the dress shop
that turned me down so many years ago was wrong.
After all the years and layers of learning later...

We were so overwhelmed when we found Rebecca, but she was on a mission to make us feel calm, and important. She guided us through each step with ease, and the pieces she made for me took my breath away.
